Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and women in the world

I love my mom. I love my wife. I love my daughter. I’ve got aunts and grandmothers I love too, and on Mother’s Day I wish them all the best.

They’re an integral part of my life in the results of where I am and the fact even that Sock Box exists. Without their support it wouldn’t have happened.

I’m often asked “what about women’s socks?”

I gave it a lot of thought leading up to today. It’d be quick cash but ultimately there was something inside me that didn’t feel it was right; so for now we’re still focused on awesome men’s socks delivered each month. That said, women’s wear is definitely on our list to look at and evaluate in the short term.

I couldn’t get any of them a sock subscription from Sock Box. Instead I got my wife a bike — that she requested. Hopefully it’ll get to go for a spin soon.

For my mom I sent her a locally made card with a gift card from Chapters/Indigo tucked in since she’s such an avid reader. It’s also her birthday tomorrow and so included a note about that as well. She’s often ripped off on her birthday. Think of it like your birthday is at the end of December. I’ll get better mom, I promise.

Back to the matter at hand, I’d like to wish all the moms, wives, grandmothers, daughters and every woman out there a very Happy Mother’s Day.
